Kmgeroux
Our family of five stayed comfortably in the four-room Sangiovese Apartment for a week. We had amazing views from our roof-top terraces of evening thunderstorms rolling across the Arno valey and also enjoyed late-night stargazing. The owners were very gracious. They shared information about their farm and gave us a tour of their wine cellar; gave advice about places to go in Tuscany; coached us on taking the train to Florence; and provided us with wine from their vineyards and oil from their olive groves. The pool was refreshing for afternoon dips after roaming the countryside. The grounds were beautiful! On the last evening of our stay, the owners hosted drinks on the castle terrace for all their guests. I felt a little heartbroken when it was time to leave. I can't thank Luca and Silvia enough for a fabulous vacation!
